About
With over 23 years of childcare experience, I bring a calm, confident presence to every home I work in. Although I may not have firsthand mother experience, I see and hear children for who they are, and where they are at, regardless of age. My approach is thoughtful, grounded, and flexible, shaped by years of caring for infants through school-age kids, supporting families with multiples, and working with children on the spectrum. Whether you're looking for a reliable backup when your usual care falls through, a trusted travel nanny, or someone to bring order to a busy household, I’m here to help.
My background includes managing au pairs as a family advisor in Seattle, leading nanny shares (think two 18-month-olds at once!), and coordinating care seamlessly to fit into each family’s unique rhythm. I’m trained in early childhood development, certified in CPR/first aid for infants and children, and fully vaccinated with three boosters.
What I Offer:
-
On-Call, Part-Time & Ad Hoc Care: Perfect for last-minute bookings, date nights, or temporary support
-
Travel Nanny Services: Experienced in on-the-go care and adapting quickly to new environments
-
Out-of-Home Activities: Happy to pick up and drop off for nature walks, library visits, playground play, or other child-friendly outings
-
Home Management Help: From laundry, dishes, and pet help, to closet reorgs and grocery runs — I lighten the load
-
Child-Led Play with Gentle Guidance: I like to follow the child’s curiosity while having a few simple activities in my back pocket for when we need to reset or redirect
I'm big on getting kids outside every day. A typical day with me might include a morning color walk, some sensory play, a book or two - letting them set the pace. I build the schedule around each child’s needs (naps, meals, routines), and I’m well-practiced in transitions — especially when juggling two or more little ones.
You can find me sharing DIY activity ideas and play inspiration freely. I maintain a running archive of crafts, games, and sensory setups suitable for all ages and all accommodations.
English and Swedish are my primary languages, and I’m open to short-term or travel-based gigs when availability allows.
Let’s find a care rhythm that supports your family. My ultimate goal is to support families and keep little ones happy and safe.
